Making Props

When I photograph newborns I keep the set-up simple, the image should be about the baby, not about what they're sleeping in or propped up on but I do use some stunning bonnets, beautiful headdresses & tie-backs and wraps that I source from amazing photographic prop makers in the UK.

However, when it comes to older children or adults I'm more than capable of making some of the props..... as well as a photographer I'm also a dressmaker, my greatest project was making my best friends wedding dress!

Tutus can look amazing in an image and I do have a stunning one that was made for me by one of my talented prop makers, stitched with lace and ribbon. However, there's another way that doesn't require a sewing machine or needle and thread and Ive been busy tutu making for some beautiful styled shoots that I've done recently.
